Dr Robert Turner Jensen Chiropractor BSc(Chiro) MCSc(Paeds)

I was born and grew up in Denmark on our family farm. Rather than take over from my father, I was meant to study veterinary science, but I injured my knee and lower back quite badly. Call that a lucky injury! Without that I might never have discovered chiropractic and the rest, as they say, is history.

My intended vet studies quickly got swapped for chiropractic studies at Odense University, University of Southern Denmark. The course was an entry to medicine, physiotherapy and chiropractic. After this, I went to study at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth University, UK, where from I graduated in 1993. I worked in beautiful Yorkshire, Doncaster and Barnsley until 2000, when I headed down under to Sydney with my Aussie wife and growing family.

My postgraduate Masters degree in Chiropractic Paediatrics is from RMIT University, Melbourne. I followed my passion for helping children through chiropractic and earned this qualification, which is held by only a few chiropractors in Australia and across the world.

What had started as “Chiro Care for Kids” in 2001, grew up to “Chiro Care for You” to emphasise that we see all patients young and old.

I take special interest in children’s chiropractic and the fact that good health for all of us starts from birth.
